Ślubna kartka / A Wedding Card

Jak na szczyt sezonu ślubnego przystało, na mój dzisiejszy post dla Agaterii przygotowałam kolejną inspirację kartkową w tym temacie:

As it befits the peak of the wedding season, for my today's DT post for Agateria I created another card inspiration for the occasion:

Najpierw przygotowałam tło, do wzoru papieru dodając stempel do tła z napisami - czerń delikatnego wzoru przełamuje pastelowość całości:

First I prepared the background, adding the background text stamp to the paper pattern - the black ink nicely breaks the pastel colour palette of the card:

Centralnym motywem kartki jest zaś przepiękne trójwarstwowe serce z tekturki, dające wiele możliwości wykorzystania: można je malować, embossować, układać w warstwy bądź korzystać z nich pojedynczo - ogranicza Was tylko wyobraźnia! Ja użyłam dwóch warstw, z których górną embossowałam pudrem różowe złoto i po złożeniu wykorzystałam jako podkład pod okrągły stempel z życzeniami, również embossowany tym pudrem:

The central decorative motif of the card is a gorgeous three-layer chipboard heart that gives you a variety of creative uses: you can paint it, emboss it, compose multi layers or use them separately - your imagination is the limit! I used two layers, embossed the top one with rose gold ep and used the assembled element as a background for the round sentiment stamp that I also embossed with the same ep.

Na koniec do kompozycji kwiatowej dodałam tekturkowe gałązki embossowane pudrem Diamentowy pył, który nie tylko wydobywa je z tła, ale również dodaje blasku i elegancji migoczącymi drobinkami :-)

For the finishing touch I completed the flower cluster with chipboard flourish leaves embossed with Diamond dust ep which not only makes them stand out from the background, but also adds shimmer and elegance with glittery particles :-)

Całość, dzięki misternym ażurom i delikatnemu połyskowi wyszła delikatnie i elegancko:

The card, due to filigree flourishes and subtle glimmer, turned out delicate and elegant:

Kartka uniwersalna / An All-Occasion Card

Dziś ponownie kolekcja Seaside od Maja Design - i podobnie jak poprzednio, nie użyłam jej do tematyki "morskiej" :-) Za to świetnie sprawdziła mi się na kartce uniwersalnej:

Today I'm sharing a project again made using the Seaside collection by Maja Design - and just like in the previous post, it's not a "marine" project :-) Instead I used those beautiful papers to make an all-occasion card:

Kartkę ozdobiłam kompozycją kwiatową, dwoma rodzajami wstążek, ptaszkiem z masy plastycznej i pieczęcią z motywem tarczy zegara:

I decorated the card with a flower cluster, two kinds of ribbons, an art clay bird and a wax seal with a clockface motif:

Ślubny Box / A Wedding Exploding Box

Nie będzie chyba dla nikogo zaskoczeniem, że najnowsza kolekcja od Maja Design, Seaside, skradła moje serce od pierwszego wejrzenia :-) Motywy marynistyczne, kolorystyka, a do tego wzory, które czynią kolekcję uniwersalną i na każdą okazję. Na przykład - na ślub :-)

I guess nobody would be surprised that Maja Design's latest collection, Seaside, just stole my heart from the first sight :-) Marine motives, the colour palette and patterns that make the collection universal and fit for any occasion. A wedding, for instance :-)

Jak zwykle, wieczko boxa ozdobiłam kompozycją kwiatową i stemplowanym oraz embossowanym napisem. 

As usually with my wedding boxes, I decorated the lid with a flower cluster, and added a stamped and embossed sentiment.  

Wewnątrz zaś znajdują się kieszonki na banknoty z różnymi celami oraz panel na życzenia. Na środku  - misterny torcik z tekturki, mój ulubiony wzór:

Inside I added banknote pockets for various purposes and a panel for writing in wishes. I placed my favourite design of a filigree chipboard cake:

Sterowana ramka / A Wheeled Frame :-)

Połowa wakacji za nami, wiele z Was ma już zapewne zdjęcia z letnich podróży, które można oprawić :-) Dlatego na mój dzisiejszy post dla Agaterii i Maja Design przygotowałam nietypową w kształcie ramkę na takie właśnie utrwalenie wyjątkowego momentu:

We're half through the summer break, many of you have already taken photos of your summer travels that are now ready to be framed :-) And so for my today's post for Agateria and Maja Design I created a frame in an original shape to showcase your special summer moment:

Ramka powstała z najnowszej kolekcji Maja Design, Seaside, na bazie koła sterowego z płyty HDF, które najpierw pokryłam farbą akrylową i medium do spękań:

I made the frame using Maja Design's latest collection, Seaside, on an HDF ship's helm that I first covered with acrylic paint and cracking medium.

Na tak przygotowanym tle ułożyłam kompozycję papierów i zdjęcia, które ozdobiłam stemplowanymi motywami muszelek i róży wiatrów, które embossowałam białym pudrem i wycięłam.

Upon thus prepared background I placed the papers and photo combo, decorated with stamped images of seashells and a compass rose that I embossed with white ep and cut out.

Ponieważ większość elementów mocowana jest na podkładkach z kartonu, całość jest dość przestrzenna, co jeszcze dodaje uroku :-)

As I mounted most of the elements upon cardstock pieces, the whole design turned out pretty dimensional which adds even more charm :-)

Na koniec pozostało wybrać miejsce ekspozycji i dobrać dodatki :-)

All I needed to do was to choose a place for dispaly and add some more decor pieces :-)

Sisters

W ramach projektu DT dla Agaterii i Maja Design przynoszę Wam delikatny dziewczęcy layout o więzi siostrzanej - a jego letni klimat jest nawiązaniem do miejsca powstania zdjęcia, czyli nadbałtyckiej plaży:

Today, as my DT project for Agateria and Maja Design, I bring you a delicate girly layout about the sisters' bond - its summer theme refers to the place of taking the photo, i.e. a beach by the Baltic sea:

Layout powstał na bazie kolekcji Seaside od Maja Design. Najpierw ozdobiłam tło pod zdjęcie: naniosłam wzór kamiennego murku z maski różnymi kolorami tuszu, dodając wzór kotwic z kolejnej maski, tym razem za pomocą pasty modelującej. Na koniec tu i ówdzie odbiłam wzór kropeczek trzymając stempel w palcach, by uzyskać niejednolite odbicie:

I made the layout using the Seaside collection by Maja Design. First I decorated the background for the photo: I applied the stone wall pattern using a stencil and various colours of inks, then I added another pattern, the anchors, with another stencil and modeling paste. I completed the design with the polka dot stamping, holding the stamp in my hand to get an uneven impression:

Tytuł layoutu powstał z użyciem tekturowych literek, które embossowałam jeansowym pudrem. Nagrzewałam go dłużej niż konieczne, by wydobyć białe drobinki bazy. Efekt jest moim zdaniem świetny!

I made the title of the layout using chipboard letters that I embossed with the jeans ep. I heated it up longer than necessary to make the white base particles show up. I think the effect is great!

Kartka ślubna / A Wedding Card

Miesiące letnie, oprócz wakacji, urlopów i upałów przynoszą również szczyt sezonu ślubnego, zatem każdy szanujący się kartkowy twórca szykuje sobie zapas projektów w tym temacie :-) Zatem na mój dzisiejszy post dla Agaterii przygotowałam kartkę ślubną, wykonaną z kilkoma produktami z najnowszej Agateriowej kolekcji:

Summer months, apart from school holidays, time-offs and burning heats, bring about the peak of the wedding season and any respectable cardmaker gathers a stock of projects for the occasion :-) And so for my today's DT post for Agateria I created a wedding card I made using a couple of Agateria products from the latest release:

Najpierw na środkowym panelu tła odbiłam motyw młodej pary w kwiatowym wianku, a następnie embossowałam go diamentowym pudrem:

First I stamped the image of newlyweds in a flower garland in the middle backgeound panel and embossed it with diamond ep:

W górnym panelu wycięłam koło, wokół krawędzi naniosłam wzór zawijasów z maski i dodałam kompozycję kwiatową z dodatkiem listków eukaliptusa stemplowanych na kalce, podobnie jak i napis - i oba te wzory embossowałam również diamentowym pudrem:

I die cut a circle in the top panel and added the stencil flourish pattern as well as the flower cluster around the edges, including eucalyptus leaves stampedupon vellum, just like the sentiment - and embossed both elements with diamond ep too:

I tak powstała romantyczna kartka ślubna, w której motywy na kalce oraz migoczący puder dodają elegancji i lekkości:

And thus I made a romantic wedding card in which motives stamped on vellum and glittery embossing powder add elegance and lightness:

Personalizowana kartka urodzinowa / A Personalised Birthday Card

Personalizowane kartki cieszą się sporą popularnością, chociaż bywają prawdziwym wyzwaniem dla twórców. Tym razem jednak z przyjemnością wykonałam kartkę z okazji 30. urodzin pani doktor, na której oprócz nawiązania do jej ukochanego zawodu nie mogło zabraknąć ukochanego zwierzaka :-)

Personalised cards are quite popular, though they're sometimes a real challenge for cardmakers. But this time I had a true pleasure in making a 30th birthday card for a doctor, with references to her beloved work and her beloved pet :-)

Kartka powstała na bazie kolekcji Mum's Garden od Maja Design. Na wyciętych panelach umieściłam motywy związane z pracą lekarską i dodałam mini różyczki. Psiaka umieściłam tak, by wyglądało, jakby wskoczył do lekarskiej torby :-)

I made the card using the Mum's Garden collection by Maja Design. I layered paper panels and added a composition of medicine-related motives as well as some mini roses. Then I placed the dog so that it looks as if he got into the doctor's bag :-)

Z motywem psa łączy się zabawna anegdota. Z opisu podanego mi przez klientkę wynikało, że chodzi o rudego szpica miniaturowego. Nie miałam takiego obrazka, postanowiłam więc pokolorować białego psiaka z zeszytu Mintay Papers. 

There was a fun thing with the dog image. The client described it as an orange pomeranian. I didn't have such an image, so I decided to colour a white image from the Mintay Papers cut-out book.

 

Ale okazało się, że pies tak nie wygląda, aż po kilku wersjach kolorystycznych poprosiłam o zdjęcie. I wtedy okazało się, że pies to typowy biszkopcik, a nie rudy, jak podała klientka :-D Mam nauczkę na przyszłość, żeby od razu prosić o zdjęcie, a nie marnować kilku godzin na przerabianie obrazka :-D

But it turned out the dog doesn't look like that and after a couple more colour versions I asked for a photo. And then I got a picture of a typical cream doggie, not an orange one as the client stated :-D And so I learned my lesson to first ask for a photo and not go wasting a couple of hours re-colouring the image :-D

Pocztówka w stylu vintage / A Vintage Style Postcard

Niedawno pokazywałam Wam pocztówkę vintage, dzisiaj przynoszę kolejną :-)

Some time ago I shared a vintage postcard, and today I bring you another one :-)

Tym razem kartka w poziomie, ale tak jak poprzednia ta również powstała z rozmaitych resztek i kawałków, a mimo warstw zmieści się do koperty:

This time I made the card horizontal, but otherwise it's like the previous one, made from various scraps and pieces and despite the layers fits into an envelope:

Tak więc kolekcja kartek resztkowych znów się powiększyła :-) Miłego dnia!
